This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills.
Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. They apply their skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).
States College Australia will use a range of assessment methods for this course to produce valid decisions and recognise that learners demonstrate competence in a variety of ways. Assessments for this course have been designed for classroom-based face‐to‐face delivery and assessment. Assessment methods include written tasks, practical tasks, projects, case studies, knowledge test, and observation supported by activities such as role plays, presentations, and group and individual work
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
- International: IELTS 6 with a minimum 5.5 in each band, or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age at the commencement of the course
